Wise Age Limited hosted the final partnership meeting in London 6-8 July 2015 welcoming 34 volunteers and collaborators to Europe House (home of the European Commission in UK) for a packed programme of project business and cultural activities. Over the three days we discussed and agreed the project achievements and structure of final report. We also agreed each partner’s contribution to the final report and deadlines.
We also discussed sustainability of the project and preservation of the broadcast material generated by the project. We agreed to maintain the Senior and Junior website for a further two years from the end of the project.
All partners unanimously expressed their thanks to Alejandro (Spain) for creating and maintaining the Senior and Junior website over the duration of the project and to Manuela (TENDA D’ELIA) for her support of the project.
Finally all partners agreed to meet in Italy in six months’ to determine how to make the partnership sustainable.
We organised a number of cultural activities that were designed to enable volunteers to experience the rich cultural diversity that is London. Visits included Tate Britain, Tate Modern, The British Library, British Museum and the Royal Observatory at Greenwich, not forgetting North Sea Fish & Chips (Leigh Street) and Tayyab’s Pakistani Restaurant.
